saw this on flee bay and was thinking of having a bid as its the type of scab im looking for , just wanted peoples opinions on it , I have messaged the guy and it comes with no v5 or number plate , now I would like to put this back on the road but u never know its history if it aint got paper work or log book, I don't even know wot year it is or how hard it will be to get the parts to put it back together ,

thought I would throw it out on here as u guys are in the no

have a bid ? or don't bother ?

With no log book or numberplate it could be and always run run the risk of it being stolen.

Personally I wouldn't touch. Plenty of legit dt's out there. But if it has frame and engine numbers you could run the numbers to see if it stolen or not.

Its a bit to far gone for me and parts are very hard to find for them these days, especially the fenders and side panels etc if you wanted it to look sort of original. I restored one of them a few years ago and it was a nightmare tracking things down for it.

Yeah it is a bit of a ****ter but want it for green laneing and messing about on to learn a bit of off roading b4 jumping upto something with a lot more grunt . Might supermoto it when finished with it , not sure on year is this the 1 b4 the dtr 87 88 model , if so are the later parts interchangerable ie exhaust wheels and body work , was looking for an early 90s to mess with but if I can get this for the starting bid then happy days

Don't rush into it if you don't have the money for a decent one. Buy cheap, buy twice.
