21 and Uhhh Ringo there was in the early mid eighties I'll have you know. TCP/IP is not a new concept, in fact it's been around longer than the external internet. Okay it's not the internet we know and love today, although I must admit if you asked some people what the internet is they'd probably say it's Facebook or Google. lol.

First bike was my Spains No 1 Aprilia RS 50. Needless to say I was a spoilt boy haha!

18. Got my first bike at about eight a little Chinese petrol scooter, more like a go-ped with a seat, then I got a mini moto in dirt bike form. Horrible bikes, but were fun whilst I had them.

First road legal bike was a Piaggio Typhoon 50. Followed by a DTR at 17.

Only 17 and been riding for 7 months now, CBR 125 as my first and current bike. They're boring to ride and look hella small. However i can't fault it

I turned 21 in May. (Ok, in 1977) Is there a prize? First bike a Raleigh moped as I got caught by the sixteener law before they'd invented sixteener specials like the FS1E. Then a 125 Bantam, 125 Yam AS1, 650 BSA, 250 DT, err list goes on. Currently have 11 bikes 5 actually taxed and tested which is a record for me, and my favourites are Japanese, no Italian, or British. Or is it German? Not had the delights of anything further East in Europe than MZ's. Planning to keep it that way. Also no American tripe for me, unless it a Buell mind.

I might be older than some of your Dads...so, is there a prize? Got any Wurthers? (sorted for E's an wizz ta.)

I'm 23, many many bikes over the years (11 road bikes I think sv650 was my biggest) started with the mini motos when I was 13 I think.

My first road bike was a Peugeot speedfighter 50cc, Currently no bikes on road though although my ktm is road reg. Traded up for a transit and focus (ford fan club?)

Nice to see such a variety of ages!

I agree it's good to see, not ready to believe I'm the oldest here though yet. Really, am I?

As a commuter, they're brilliant. It's really not a "sports" bike, but a sporty commuter. If you can accept it for that it's a fantastic bike. I just want a bike that's more fun to ride now

scrim you have just had me on a bit of a hunt. I had a dt 125 mx when I was 20 . it was a red one like the 175 in your photo.i had a gpz 500 as well and the dt was for me to try and learn a bit about bikes as it was a bit of a shed but running the paint had faded to a sickly pink and the exhaust had more holes than a string vest. I still have a book that I wrote down what I was going to get for it and I just found it I brought the following.......giannelli power exhaust ..£ 63.00 s and b cone air filter and jet....£21.25 chain and sprocket set £ 20.50 jack up kit £21.95 renthal bars.....£17.95 renthal bar pad ....£4.95 knuckle fenders....£4.20 foam grips ...£2.00..(remember those held water like a sponge ) pair of no1 gear dt 125 side panels x2 ....£12.50 rear fender and reg holder and light ...£13.50 super wide front fender .....£7.40 and head light with surround fairing ....£ 13.50 all brought on my shinny new access credit card . can remember having fun trying to put the jet in as hadn't a clue what I was doing put everything went ok. was faster than a mates dt 125 lc but he was a bit of a porker...and I think the last dt in light blue was one of the best colours they did the dt in except black......ended up selling it to go on an 18 to 30s holiday with mates.....
