Nice, but they aren't nothing special. I'm selling mine and going back to stock...But £40 for a complete engine is not bad going at all!

i had a set of spare 4dl cases sitting around

(after i swapped the internals into 3mb cases for a lad who didn't want to change engine numbers)

so this is ideal.

more after the smoothness of the gearbox/engine..

mainly because i want to run it without the balance shaft for faster revs/throttle response.

we'll see how quick it pops lol

Wow really?

I found on my setup that the top end was worse. 6th is incredibly short so you knock it into 6th and it gives you a tiny bit more top end.

But I'm running ridiculously small rear wheel/sprockets since that is all I can find. Probably closer to a TZR actually. To be fair I spent a ridiculous amount tuning that 4DL, porting, Ignition, carbs and it was very flat, very slow. Now I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Must be something but the 4DL 3MB00P was nothing special.

I'm not knocking you, you got yourself a bloody bargain there. Just saying my experiences. If yours differ please let me know.

will do bud.

apart from leaving the balance shaft gear out,i'm leaving it standard.

not expecting too much in a dt chassis.

in the tzr's they are little belter's though.

Haha! Removing the balancer shaft, that's classic!

Good luck, let me know what you think.
