My 01 DT125R had really flexible rad scoops and they never broke while offroading. Now i have a 98 DT and i broke my plastics on first day. They are probably aftermarket ones. Are the OEM ones more flexible or the 98 plastics don't flex as much?
the genuine yamaha panels are quite stiff bud.
the after market panels are usually polypropylene and will flex and score (brighter white marks),but are harder to snap.
if those panels have been on since 98 they will be more brittle too
money killed everything....
