Hi when i click my start button its just clicking. So was wondering if it is safe to take a wire directly from starter to battery to check if it is a faulty relay or something, or if this could be harmful somehow?
It will just forever turnover mate, hence the relay.
But that won't prove anything. If it's not working on the button then it's probably worn out. I'd be surprised if the relays gone. It is possible but not for its age and natural wear and tear.
Yeah guess its the starter, was spinning much before it stopped working so .. got all the kickstart parts expect the lever it self so ill get that on as soon as i get time :)
Yeah it actually stopped working months ago ... have stood in the garage while i have fixed it up .. new battery and no difference :) but fook it kickstart is better and more reliable
