losing power in the rain

hi there sometimes when its raining and i try to pull off the bike looses power i think this is called throttle stick does anyone know what causes it and how to prevent it thanksyawn

might be that the Coil and HT lead are getting soaked from water kick up from the front wheel.

I would imagine its your airfilter, check its not wet - i have to had this problem.
If you dont have a snorkel ont he top of your airbox put it back in mate its not worth the hassle

thanks for that will check out those two point if things get bad it was doing this with the snorkel still on .cheers

It's your air filter, i put money on it ;)
Take off the side of the airbox and feel the bottom of your filter if its even slightly damp dry it our or replace it (replace is best imo)

it could be your sparkplug and coil aswell.
when mine gets wet it misses sparks. this can be solved by sealing the sparkplug with tape or whatever.
but your best guess would be the filter

mine got really badthis past week, canged the HT coil any wupti, no problems anymore.
also changed the sparkplug rubberthingy to keep it waterpoof. real cheap and might be worth changing once in a while.

my bike has actually cut out from bad rain a few weeks ago.
symptoms:
Feels like its running out of fuel and i need to switch to reserve, it boggs.

precisely, buy a ned sparkplug seal!
pretty sure thats why my bike behaived like that.

i stripped my bike today and sprayed all the wires, coil, ht lead with wd-40, will get back to you if it fixes it
