Indy's turned up and found a better place for L plate . Imo it's still legal , it's rear facing and not cut down

Personally I'd have put it on the bottom of the number plate as otherwise you might get pulled a lot by the Police - I'm not Mr Law Abiding but also think its better not to be hassled all the time.

If you dress properly and dont ride like an ass then tbh you could get away without any at all.

L plate is definitely ****ing with the looks

Got my wiring done today , got heat tape for the batt cover and side panel . Got my vents for the front , got my front indy brackets . Fit all of this . Bought some oil , coolant and gearbox oil .

Took carb off to attach all the pipes properly , tightened everything up . Ordered a new washer for front sprocket and one for the rear wheel . Fit rear pads and caliper properly . that's about it today .

Need a chain breaker , need a speedo still , need the batt charged , need brake hoses maybe ( toying with braided still ) , need new shells as mine are powdercoated and I think that's causing them to spin when trying to tighten

if you meen the fork legs, the reason they are spinning on the stantions are that the inside needs to be held in place by a broom stick handle from inside and then tightened from the bottom, or you can use a impact gun to do them up, they will just keep spinning else, and if you do a decent wheelie you might find that your fork legs and front wheel will wall off lol smile.gif

Shells , the things that space the rear wheel lol

Yeah not much mud around here mate and you're having a laugh if you think it's going near offroad .

Heat tape was £4 for a HUGE rool like duct tape , just making sure I dont have to re-do anything

Right final few pics , the next thing to do is start it , hopefully next Sunday . If I can I'll make a vid of it starting up etc . I'll be starting it up here then taking off the plastics etc then down the stairs . Cant be asked to strip it down enough to fit in the lift .

Indy's are on and every thing's all bolted up as if ready to ride . Chains not on yet but doing that hopefully Tuesday . To buy I just need a speedo , relay , sikaflex for mesh and that's about it .

Still need to do my CBT and get MOT tax etc . Also need riding gear + security for bike ( chain etc ) . But that can be done during December .

Hopefully it starts and all is well , the clutch should free up and all electrics spring into action . That's what I'm hoping for .

To see it in person is a lot different to pics , cant wait to get it out on the road . Here's the last few pics as there's no more left to take .

thanks for viewing

nice one mate.. The first ride is such a buzz. you'll find little things that aint right but once they are sorted and its all running sweet you will love every minute of it.. sm conversion transforms the bike.. The handling is so much more precise and it when you turn it takes the front end right into the corner. jumping back on my dtre feels like its all sloppy.. I cant wait to get mine taxed and mot'd.. gonna be a hoon on the road :)

Agree with Ben, re: dress code & coppers .. they will take offence at your number plate angle too ! Make sure your all legal,     as it's When .. Not If !

WTF went on with Bodger & Badger anyway ???? Gutted !
Best grub, best front of house ... clients loved him !
How come he lost it ? F*cking Hell... so serve BIG POTS of soup & F*ck the expense ! It was a promotion excercise anyway ...
F*cking blew it big time boys ... Jesus if i have to put up with the two C*nts serving Scotch Eggs, and preening their gay f*cking hair for one more week, im gonna puke !

Have i gone of topic ?
