It was polished with very fine wet/dry and good old duck oil, then finished with autosol, took me about twenty mins in total, nice fine job i thought...lol

That`ll be exactly what it was mate...I like the duck oil too, cos its just that little bit less abrasive, or sometimes soapy water, but i couldnt be arsed to got to the kitchen

Oh yeah I forgot to say how I got the bike back down stairs
Well you know the first plan was to strip enough to fit in the lift . That was scrapped and then decided we would take it back down the stairs ...
Tuesday I sat there staring at it and wondering hang on , is this thing even going to fit . Wheeled it out and tried maneuvering around the first staircase . Someone was coming down so quickly wheeled it back in . Tried again and this time thought I'd see how well the brakes handled going down . FAIL , after the first step I couldnt lift it back up lol
The stairs have plastic edges so the wheels just slipped over them , brakes did nothing . So took it down 12 separate stair cases ,, by myself . Every wall has a dint and I scraped my new DEP sticker . That was the only damage done , and received another new free DEP sticker today .
Put tank , plastics etc back on it . Then took it for its first test run , just in circles etc in carpark . I thought it was pretty quick but then Chris came over next day ans said powervalve was set the wrong way .
Swopped it around and I have to admit , this DT is A LOT faster than I expected . I'm not saying it's anything special as I don't really know much , but I know quick and this thing really is quick :D
also dts are fairly quick.. I could keep up with my mate in his civic with a williams b16 engine up to 50.. beaten mr2's, escort 16v, golf gti (they are slow anyway) and a few other cars.. tis funny cos car drivers thing 125's are slow.. You can blitz em and be up at 30 before they have pulled away and got out of 1st gear!
