I know most have seem this on other site, but for those who havent these pics below are the things I have done to my bike as time goes on from start to what it looks like now!!!
Lookin sharp PAT :), ill need to dig mine out of the garage and get the clutch replaced and eletrics working before summer is totally over and my CBT is up :(.
Just a few pics of the SM Wheels and forks, there not on yet, but they should be in the next few months, due to a very busy month comming up and christmas comming fast will probably put then on after christmas, A big thankyou to DTR Dave for selling me them with everything going so smoothly and a big thankyou to Seiki, for listening to me go on about SM wheels for the last few months boring him to death haha, and giving me loads of advice, thankyou so much......
That means in the next few months my rims, wheels, forks etc will be up for sale, anyone interested let me know
They look the dogs bollox, thanks so much Dave!!!!!
oi oi Ben your find that I had this idea for months and months ask seiki cos I bored him to death with it my tanks been like that since I brought it, and I done the stuff on the scoops myself now whos copying hahahahaha!!!!
Ha ha ha! least yours is running and on the road, mines still stuck in the shed wating for me to find the time to finish wiring up the dash lights / make some decent head light brackets.
I know your only winding me up Ben mate, but you just cant beat a bit of old skool DTR supermoto eh mines running of course just not on the supermoto setup yet grrrrrrrrrrrrrr bloody weather and funds hopefully very soon though, take some close pics of yours mate and put them up I wanna see how alike they are
I will get onto it very soon mate, just need some dry weather and xmas out the way as I am very very very busy this month with work grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
Yeah know what you mean mate, all my money seems to go on the bike, I got the task now of trying to fit these supermoto wheels/forks/calipers etc, is it an easy job? would rather do most of it myself then go to the garage so they can check it over, the sods charge a bomb for labour!!!!!
piece of cake mate.. put bike on a box/stand....drain/unbolt brake hose, remove front wheel, loosen off fork clamp bolts, drop forks, put dtx wheels/forks on. back wheel is a straight swap. you might get the standard front brake hose to fit if you play with it.. I wanted braided anyhow so I never bothered much..
dt's are easy to work on.. even top end rebuilds. gearboxes are another subject but nothing is really that difficult if you have the right tools, manual and some people in the know to ask questions..
oh have you got the dtx speedo drive?
