Bearing in mind that my oil pump has been set to pump extra. So my bike Is running 'really rich. Hence why it picks up little quicker

Well decided to try snorkel again to make sure it wasn't me...struggled after 8k rpm..went for 10 mile ride and was completely different r ent ride.
Took snorkel back off and much better riding...not hesitation again after 8k rpm....just a slight brightness from standstill is the only downside.

I personal l y will be riding without now

You can get the same effects if you just jet correctly. In theory you should rejet according to the weather. Obviously its really hot at the moment so obviously you would want to down size the jet. But in the winter the air is cooler and the air is more dense so an increase in jet size would be necessary.

If you down size your jet you would feel the same effects. Its purely because at the moment the air is not as dense so the engine is starved of air. In effect.

think i will leave it as it is...plug chop looks good. you shouldnt need to rejet according to seasons.not on non-race vehicles anyways. They are setup to be suitable for most weather conditions and emissions.

but my point is that it works..and thats all that counts :p not many miles left to complete run in period and she will be a good spanking!! hahaha

Like i said 'In theory' you should. In practice nobody bothers. You may find that it doesn't run as well without the snorkel. May like you said they're designed to run all year round without constant modification.

Grafts well now

How did you fix this? Mines having the same/similar problem!

He most likely removed the snorkel on the airbox, take off the seat and you'll find it

That's exactly what I done!
But this can also be a dirty/blocked air filter!!
Wash your filter and oil it up first see if that works
