Funny you should say that crazy mate, it wasnt long ago I brought a brand new battery for my bike, all was fine until after a week it loses its charge, its like now when I leave the bike over night or all day as you all do I turn the ignition on and there isnt much charge at all, when I first got it the charge was spot on, its only a few months old and been doing it after one week of having it

patman, if its cold overnight and it drops that is normal if the bike doesnt get started for days, if its doing it when you are using the bike every day then it could be your alternator, if it doesnt produce enough then it will draw from your battery instead smile.gif

Went out yesterday, yes, when it was raining.thought ied give it a go ,easy pesy .did 50 miles but never got over 65mph exept down hill .clock lights are brighter ,checked charge rate whilst bike was running and it was ok .so i would off had to buy one soon anyway.carn't understand why it wont go any faster? done the mods .full dep system, valve working the right way now(had to swop cables around )and fully open ,checked up exhaust port . anything else u can suggest.
