Sorry, yes I set the position of the two stroke pump when I fitted the correct carb.
I've given it plenty of time to "blow thru" any excess oil that may have been in the crank cases, due to over oiling with the wrong (TZR) carb that was on the bike.
I don't know if performance is down mate, I bought the bike for my son who is 17 later this month - I ride a tuned Kawasaki 750 Turbo so it most certainly feels down!!!
It IS smelly and smoky tho, I seriously doubt it's pass an MOT like this.
Cheers dude, Mark.

you got a gpz 750 turbo ??????????????????????????
Got a 750 Turbo street bike (actually Wiseco 810cc) - 150BHP if I keep the boost turned right down, considerably more if I wind it up!!! (in bits in the garage at the minute tho)...
Got a long term project Hub Centre Steered one I'm building too -> check out here...
The Epic project is stalled due to needing more BIG spending before I can go any further.
As or selling it - I would only do so for a LOT of money. The blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into it are immeasurable!!!
Here's my XL500R (with XL600 disc brake front end)...
Here's a pikky of my street 750 Turbo winter rebuild - GSX-R600K3 front and rear ends, one off fork extenders, WP rear shock resprung and revalved by K-Tech etc etc etc...

It's undergoing a top end job at the minute - the camshaft and crappy head journals have the usual Honda wear - it's getting a billet roller bearing hi performance camshaft and a Wiseco 10.25:1 piston (instead of the Honda 8.6:1 original) etc etc...
Should go like buggery when done!!!
