sorted runs better than it has done since i bought it, i put that down to cleaning the fins and chopping the end of the lead off and crazy i used 0000 grade wire wool to do it. Ta crazy i owe you a fizzy one for that :D

I think its been slowly getting worse for a while i did make a post a few months ago about having problems with it spluttering.

if its still spluttering and losing power mate i suggest you consder thinking about a top end rebuild (rings,small end bearing , piston and new gaskets )

Its all sorted now, and i did a compression check a few weeks ago cos i thought it was on its way out but according to my haynes manual it isn't much off what it should be.

fecks sake its only done it agen, went to start it last night after work and it started then bogged out :( so just a quick question, can i change the ht lead without changing the igniton coil aswell?

wd40 (water displacement 40) :D its designed to displace water and is fine to use with electrics

yeh just rememeber mate that wd40 can be ignited by spark, which is what this thread is about mate, wd40 on ht lead lol not a good idea at all! wd40 is good for cleaning but must be cleaned off, best get plumbers grease for the connectors and seal all connector blocks with insulation tape wink.gif
