well i changed the pads on my bike ..
i was under the impression i swivelled the caliper up, pads out, pads in.

i was wrong lol.

i tried pushing the piston in .. no joy, clamps, grips no joy
hinged screwdriver (big thick beefy one) and i was pulling pulling and pulling and its bent the screwdriver.
didnt want to pull even harder because the brake hanger might give.

the piston hasnt got any rust on it? and it just will not go in.

any suggestions?
hate being off the road :(

vice....

mine have been like that before and only a vice worked.. make sure the piston is sparkly as possible then lube with a bit of brake fluid then put it in a vice and use a cloth to prevent damage from the teeth on the vice and crank it up.. it will go.. other than that theres a lip inside the caliper or on the piston? doubt it though..

sometimes using a socket to push against the piston while in the vice helps..
