Fuel/air mixture screw (air screw) on carb perhaps?? Check you're not running too rich. Check your needle settings, there is a little circlip at the top which has three positions. If it's at the bottom try moving it up to the middle, if it's in the middle try moving it up to the top to prevent more petrol going in than needed.

Just some suggestions as I had a very similar issue, turned out to be the needle settings on mine, too much petrol was being allowed in.

smile

ok i got my m8s bike up thats exactly the same make and runs perfect and this is what i did, we changed carb, coil, airbox, and reeds, and still it does the same thing i really dont get it what else could it be, when i bought the bike it was suposed to of had new piston and rings so i dont think it could be that so i really am at my wits end and have not got a clue on what else to do, cos sometimes it runs ok but most of the time it just bogs out and cuts out.

oohhhh also forgot to mention it back fires quite alot aswell it was that bad it blew the back can of one day

sounds like youve got no compression, could be a top OR bottom end problem, reeds, crankseels, piston rings etc.

If your lucky you will have just fouled a plug!
