Swapped the sparkplug for a shiny new one :)

As title, but I want to know was the old plug looking alright. I know you can tell a lot from how the spark plug looks.. So I took a few pictures.

Also I don't have a torque wrench so just tightened it by hand and then put a half turn on it with a normal wrench.








Hows that old plug looking? :)

bit rusty :P to do colour checks i believe you need to do a full throttle run then clutch it and check straight off

you have to be in top gear at full throttle, i hear you ask why not in any other gear, well all other gears will top out, and cause the rev limiter to kick in which casues a moment of rich and lean mixtures. any way once youve had it at full throttle doing 70 or what ever. cut the engine and pull the clutch at the exact same time.

 

then read the spark plug.

i dont think that matters, i would of said that puts the engine under strain giving a wrong result
