id say wheel bearings, you cant really feel the play in bike wheel bearings, my bros cagiva had that snatch type feel and you couldnt feel it in the wheel.

if the clutch was slipping you would know.

you may find were the plates chatter under normal load and the sliding action it drives dips/groves in to the clutch basket. again this happened on my bro cagiva,it makes the clutch very hard to disengaged and some times makes it slip if the plates get stuck on the high points

like this

you can either file the raised parts out, but this creates another problem, it widens the slots and then the dips/grooves then create faster, maybe half the time. but will get you by till you get a complete basket, or go and buy the basket, be warned there not cheap new and may be better sourcing a good s/h replacement, but do inspect it for that wear, gear wear and of course cracks or heavy wear.

well worth geting a brand new 1 so hopefully wont get the problem agen .. its quite hard to pull of feels like its going to cut out i know u hav to giv 2strokes abit ov throttle to get them to go but mine needs alot lol think il invest in a full clutch basket + wheel bearings then hopefully be as sweet as a nut :)

well just drain the oil and take the clutch cover off, your be able to clearly see if theres excesive wear with out dissembling the basket and plates. if there fine and there will be a little wear then its ok, but if you can find a new basket for cheap then just replace it, it will make your clutch so easy your be able to pull it with one finger
