Cylinder head, light scratches
Permalink

hi fellas, new here and i will be posting up my DT125 (1990) rebuild in the projects section tomorrow.

i have a question reguarding the cylinder head, i have rebuilt the whole engine and im close to fitting the engine back in. the cylinder head has very light scratches in it im wondering if i should use the sheet of glass and sandpaper trick maybe to polish it up? im unfamiliar with the grades of sandpaper to use and wondered if someone could advise me on that.

Edit: reason i dont realy want to replace the head is because its the Y4 TZR125RR head, its a decent one.

i can post pics if needed.

Cheers
Martin
