my ypvs is going wrong way, help?

hey, as the title says my povervalve turns the opposite way to everyone elses??? i looked at all the vids on youtube and they go anticlockwise when revved up mine goes clockwise. its a 2006 model and has been derestricted. im thinking about pining it open as its is doing my head in :@

has anyone got an explanation ???
