i had my barrel rebored a fue weeks ago and its fooked up agen i had it bored to a 57.40mm my bikes a 1989 does any1 know if i can have another rebore on it or am i at my limit?? cheers
Id say you can have another one done. My cylinder had been 2mm oversized to 58.00mm and has been fine for over 5,000 miles.
You need to find out why its blowing the top end tho, aslong as when you had it rebored you fitted a new piston and rings which were the correct size and you ran it in it shouldnt have blown agen so quickly. Could be bad jetting for example.
what size piston would u recomend buyin for when i take the barrel to bike shop? ... yh i had it all sized up everythin was bob on every1 rekon s it was running lean as i premix and had just pinned powervalve open 10minutes before it bust up lol
take it to a engineer you need to get it measured to check what oversize you need because all the damage needs to be machined out, i'm on a 2.5mm oversize piston atm though the liner is getting a bit thin by that point

Most rebore shops will supply you with the correct next-size-up piston - try PJME in Wolverhampton, highly recommended.
