well my bike cut out now wont start, has a very weak spark. changed the coil and still no luck. if i leave if for about an hour it will start up for about 10secs but runs really rough and will cut out again.

anyone no whats going on

hi in this weather i would check your stator/generator for a damp pickup.

just started it up and is running fine, anyone one why it running fine now but after a little while it cuts out. could there be water damage

there was a bit of rust on the pick up, rubbed it off with a bit of sand paper and hasnt cut out on me yet

rust indicates water. id probably replace your seal around the cover just to be sure it doesnt happen again.
If that is actually the problem.

well if it happens again and theres no rust it aint the problem lol, i just wont ride to far from home

mine did that the 1st day i had it, not 100% sure what the problem was but i went over everythin electrical ... stator,cdi,coil etc replaced the plug and then it ran .... it happend after id washed it ,, this weather doesnt help

yea this weathers crap but i dont suppose it helped riding it in a park covered in snow

replace the ht cap stock dt ones hold in water

water shouldent be a problem with the stator pick up etc

when i broke down i had a spare coil with ht lead onit and put that on and was **** the same but ive ride about 10 miles 2day and is running fine
