The holes in the piston means its standerd, stan stepthan told me when i orded my piston of him.

cool well ill keep with that then as i know the hole is for more mixture to go through so means less chance if seizure

no it doesnt its a sign its a standered piston ,

Plus that wnt bring mixture faster, if it does it gets techincal like badly , if it did that more you would need to up jet ect.

ye its been all up jetted mate got a 30mm mikuni carb on it now and mixture has been seet according

yz125 engine going in now so got other engine for sale had full top end rebuild and all cleaned and painted comes with lool and cdi open to offers now

got a full yz today all it needs is a piston so gonna drop engine in mine and use wheels and shocker from yz to go on derbi the dt engine is mint

offer me mate would have to check on postage tho just had top end rebuild too is mint compared to others on ebay who want like 290 for them lol i have cdi and loom but loom could do with looking at really inbox with offers

ill throw the radiator and coolant bottle in with engine that i had on it before and i got a full dt125 exhaust system if right price is offerd and all pieps n reeds

My mate has a derbi, i sold him a yz125 engine and he was gonna fit it, then i told him about the dt trick.But if it goes in pretty simple i might say keep the dt engine .But then still the dt would be better as he thrashes bikes the yz engine wouldnt last 2 mins.
