ah man that made me laugh, poor bloke what on earth was going through his mind at only 40. He must have really been brickin it to make himself jump off haha
Craig are you just gonna go straight for the test then, would be a helluva lot cheaper. I never ridin anything heavier than my 125 so i'm in 2 minds about it.
Paul how have you put up with L's for sooo long dude :), I really do hate mine on the bike...seriously can't stand them, well just the one on the back.

yeah i no mate only recently put em back on not that i wanted to got pulled a couple of months back cause was with a mate on a moped both of us had no L plates at all n both got 3 points n 60quid fine f*ukers
Yeah i am mate, only just passed my car test and i dont have a car, so im still fresh to all the rules. Only difference is life savers. I can see myself on a bigger bike, id like a 2 stroke 250 next. CRM250 actually. But that wont be for a while yet.
I hate that I still have L plates when ive passed one test haha, I want my test done for a few reasons really, if i want a bike when im older (as for money reasons I might have to get rid) then i can just get one, insurance will be cheaper, and generally the bike will look much better with no L plates. Look like a ****ing child haha.

Hang about, can you do the test with your own bike then, a 125. I'm going for the DAS and for some reason i'm under the impression it's done on a 600cc, which is why i was thinking the maneuvers of mod 1 might be abit tricky if I just go for it, with the bike being a bit larger and heavier and all...am i just being daft here
CRM250, nice craig are they quick bikes? Do you have a car now aswell mate?
Paul man that sucks, almost took mine off. I picked up 3 points a few months back driving in me car, luckily they gave me the option of attending a speed awareness course - just pay the fine and forfeit the points. It was like school detention all over :)

if you do it on yout own bike or there 125 it will be for the restricted access (33bhp) test if your doing ther DAS you will be on a 500cc
Yeah you can do it on your own bike, but its better to lend a 500cc and do DAS, but you have to be 21 and im not lol.
Erm CRM250 is quite quick, compared to something like an RS250 its not, but i dont think id want that much more power, and its only as heavy as a 125 so why not lol.
Nah ive not got a car, im at uni now, I just wanted to get it out the way so when i want a car i can just get one lol.
piss take, i cant find a helmet to borrow for a week so i can spend the £100 on insurance deposit. so now i have to wait till pay day on friday till i can ride :(
Power valve still not working even after a full charge aswell.
nice on mate check ebay for sum cheap helmets start from 35 upwards for road legal ones and for power valve its a known thing really mate could be a few things battery or servo its self or wiring

Good going mate, how did you find it - piece of cake hopefully?
Yeah take the rubber cover off your servo and have a ganders? Also bud, is the battery holding it's charge, mine sits at around 13v, should be above 12v anyway. Test it on load too with the bike running, shouldn't really fall below 11/10v.
yehhh was really easy, was pretty nervous tho tbh :/
nope not had chance, going to take it to work and have a look on my break as when i get home its too dark and no tools, so ill test my battery then. Its deffo not the battery tho, as even when its still on charge it doesn't even do the cleaning cycle of the PV. Again, ill test that at work too.
haha i noo i'm too picky tho i cant find one i like, and im not sure about ordering of the internet and finding out its the wrong size!! my mates bringing an old one into work tomorrow so hopefully that will fit, even tho hes got a penut head.
Bit nervous as my first proper journey will be at 6.30am down the ring road to work :/ when its still darkish.
went to go for a ride last night and my bike started fine, but every time i put it in gear it just cut out. the first time was because the stand was down but it kept doing the same every time after thhat. think it could be the stand switch.
also is it normal that when the bikes in gear with the engine off, if you pull the clutch, the bike wont move freely like its in neutral? if not my clutch has gone :(
Mine wont move either, its just normal i think, yeah check the side stand switch, could be that. It should start in neutral with the stand down though.
ahh good. got it working in the end, not sure how. bloody good fun :) acceleration is fast but i get to about 50mph and it just doesn't seem to want to go any faster which is a shame, my PV is pinned open as the servo isn't working.
How have you pinned your powervalve with th black plastic pulley thing broken :S If you order one then you can pin it properly, I think thats why its not going over 50. Mine was doing that when i first got it lol.
ive ordered the new part, just waiting for it to come. Well i used a picture of one pinned open and tried to line up the other points on it to how it is when its pinned open.
Oh okay fair enough. When you pin it, your meant to leave the pin in or it moves around, you cant do this so maybe it slipped outta position.. well anyway, when you get the part, should be all good :)
