still waiting for my bloody front disk from Collin appleyard. :@

Taking my mate to drop some stuff off at the powdercoaters on Saturday so thought i may as well get my top and bottom yokes done in black, and my rear brake leaver. And possibly my pegs and gear leaver.

Also i got some new boots and there a bit stiff atm so i keeps hitting neutral from 1st to 2nd, now my neutral light has stopped working, any ideas what may have caused this? is there a sensor that can get damaged? Is the bulb LED or a filliment? i.e. could it have just blown?

if you take the left hand side casing off you will see a single wire bolting into the engine, give that a good clean and tighten it, thats the only thing i can think off :/

not updated this for a while.
Piston went a few weeks ago, so i rebuilt it with a rebore, was running beautifully, so much quicker, and started really easily.....untill yesterday. Way home from work it overheated and cut out. I let it cool down and it ran again, not very well, and there was a loud rattling sound.

Took the head off and the head is warped and the gasket blowing, causing all the water to all go and it to overheat

So i either need a new head, or a head skim, whatever i can find for cheaper, don't even no if the DT head can be skimmed?

Also i'm wondering what the ratteling could possibly be? the water pump impeller buggered? whats this like to change?

anyone got a head i can buy?

The head is 3MB y-2 i think bradders, whats the one you've got? is it defiantly straight, not warped. pictures would be good.

mine is 3bn m8 and i can get it skimmed for ya as im not sure iv never had it on a running motor

iv also sprayed it and laqured it but its not high temp paint so not sure if itll last but i do have another un painted jus needs a clean and i can get tht skimmed aswell

ill do a straight swap for a freshly skimmed 3bn head for your one as it is, how does that sound m8y, you 100% yours is a 3mb, also u got any pics aswell : )

Sounds awsome mate, I better check tomorow what my head is just to make sure. Why do u want to swap anyway? Is the 3mb better or something? Higher compression.

Lol that's a dryer god damn!! Lol,

Tbh with u jack I think the domed surface in the 3mb is better performance wise as it's smoother from the outer edges inwards( cleaner smoother fuel burn, not highr comp) wer as the 3bn has the raised ridge bit in there ( I am not 100% if this is true I'm jus gonna test it out to see if it is) , tbh I'm running a 3bn atm and my dt is still rapid lol
Hence y I'm offering a good deal to try n get hold of a 3mb head coz I'm gonna run it with the less restrictive 3bn barrel ( also not 100% on the barrels) also there's an engineering firm right by me who can get it skimmed for me so.. Up to u m8y let us know
