adjusting oil pump

how do you guys adjust the oil pump to get the engine the correct amount of oil ? i tend to make it so the bike is smokey and losen it slightly, is there a proper way that i dont know of ?

Interested to know this too, I've never messed with it but feel like its using abit much.

Its not really the ideal way but thats what I did.. do a very little at a time, and do a plug chop each time, only way to be safe.

So nut you do not.

You scew it out , srew it in wait till there is constant oil flowing otu of the pipe and no air bubbles , i would pre mix a litre.Till the oi pump is bleed then wack o nthe pipe.

My mate just duck tape his throttle full , and it pumps the oil throw the pipe , but that takes ages.

Sorry Louis, I really can't understand that and I'm struggling to understand exactly what you mean, can you explain it again?

So about that.


Well this is how you bleed an oil pump.

1. Screw the little screw out
2. Wait till the oil running out of the pipe is running clear - NO AIR BUBBBLES AT ALL
3. Once there is clear oil , put the pipe back on
4. Put the screw back in


Remember, in the mean time premix the fuel, like a litre. Otherwise you run the risk of no 2 stroke in your engine .
