Throttle Cable

I fitted new bars grips, handlebars and everything on there last week.. not been back home from uni since, going soon so want some advice.

Two bolts on the left side sheared and it meant i had to force the throttle tube off on the right side instead of sliding the left switch gear off, i swear i didnt really pull it hard at all, but it took ages to start the bike once everything was back on.. then when it finally started it was idling at 5k??

So i think i may have pulled it, or stretched it, anyone done similiar?

I adjusted the throttle back down using the adjustment near the handlebars, but it doesnt seem to hit the band right, what have i ****ed up?

Cheers

"Two bolts on the left side sheared and it meant i had to force the throttle tube off on the right side instead of sliding the left switch gear off" dunno if im being retarded but that dnt really make sense?? Lol. But it Sounds like wen u pulled it the cable got pulled then got jammed? Av u taken the the cover off the box wher the cable splits to go to oil pump and carb ? Somthing in there might of got jammed??

I wrote it quick aha.

The 2 bolts holding the left side switch gear on, literally sheared and we seized so I could get it apart. For some reason I wanted to get the throttle off the other side to make it easier, dont ask. Was hung over. In future im going to do it properly haha.

Il have a ganders when I go back. I didnt go very far, I was worried Id ****ed the autopump connection with the throttle... Not sure. I might have just stretched the cable.

Sounds to me its definatly got pulled then got stuck if its idleing at 5 k , it probaly moves but its not relesing properly and closing the slide fully in the carb, let us know how u get on wen u take that little box apart, get some pics up if that helps m8
