Does look good mate, what exhaust is it? The only thing that bothers me and its with all DT's, the right rear panel if flared to cover the exhaust and the left goes straight down, should be the same on both sides!!

Just noticed you have the same tail tidy as me, wiring it up was easy enough but what's the illumination like on yours? when im riding around it's so bright it looks like im constantly breaking but when the bikes on tickover, it almost dies out!! is your the same?

@ braader & Nathan. it came with a 13 on it so I'm gonna see how it goes. over been looking at some smaller rear sprockets form a yz
that ill get if its poop.

@hsmith. I have no idea mate haven't started the bike yet n got no battery, I tested it on a RC car battery tho and it seemed ok. have you checked your wiring to see if you wired the brake light into the main light and vice versa? although saying that my old dt was the same, light would get brighter the higher the revs

No need to send logbook off he will make them all legal just won't put his logo on them as he don't know it's legit reg so sells them as showplates to cover his ass could have forum website or username as a slogan at bottom. He does pressed plates too that's what I'm doing there at the mo

Well I can see you have put a little bit of cash into the bike but £150 for the bike and then £400 for the wheels £550 pluss other parts, You might as well have bought a well looked after DTX or DTR. Why would you wanna spend just as much as the bikes worth? coz when you wanna see the bike youl lose out. Not many of them go for more then 1400. Ive seen some at £2000 and yeah they are like brand new but i dunno if they have been sold at that price.

you go find me a dtr/ dtx for around a grand with full white panels and twin stubby exhaust then mate. its called a 'PROJECT' for a reason. Ive got the bike looking how I want way cheaper than it would cost to buy a dtx n modify it the same. in the end this bike will cost me around £1500, and it will be mine not just a standard bike. out of interest would you say the same about seiki's bike?

Well said Davey mate! Thats how i feel about mine, i just want to perfect it then once i've got it to how i finally want it, i'll be keeping it forever as a sunny day ride/escape (if funds will allow me in the future!) smile

Alonger process but it will be Cheaper with all the add ons youve bought, Not only that you know whats what on the bike having built it, no nasty suprises that the previous owner hasnt told ya about. Mines sitting on about &600 at the mo with the usd conversion onboard. Still gotta spend abit more for plastics and Bradders Invoice lol

We need to get them stickers, B'n'B - Built Not Bought!!!! The other way around for you Energized lol

Hahahahahaha yeah stevey m8! I'm jus basically pimping it to how i want it to look in my mind but it will be a learning curve aswell as a visual project cause i'll be learning bits and bobs mechanically along the way from my dad and will give the top end a go and fitting the athena kit if i ever get it! smilesmile I was lucky to snap it up off carl having most stuff done but when i got it, it still had hundreds of things i needed to do to get it how i want it, lol im a perfectionist just cant wait till ive got all the things done in the very near future then ill spam you with pics :)
