for Steve, hope this helps mate

filled up the coolant today and afterwards it wouldn't start. took spark plug out and was covered in coolant . so took head off, replaced gasket and skimmed head, so now all is fine and working again. bit Smokey at no but not sure if that's the premix, coolant or exhaust. more updates to come

Got this through the post today. Had a bit of trouble wiring in the idiot lights as I was an idiot lol. All connected apart from speedo sensor as need an extension. Fed up of waiting for my local garage to get a battery so gonna order a sealed one off eBay. Mirrors should be here tomoz so will slap them on. Think I might need to get head skimmed as having same problem as bkray with the coolant, also got a split in the radiator overflow pipe that's been taped up by the old owner, so might need to replace that. Then its just tidy her up, panels on, find a small number plate n get her mot'd. might be a while as out of work at mo tho

well bikes on the road now. failed mot at first as horn button was missing and headlight alignment, so button head screw and some tape sorted the horn and they adjusted headlight for me. Got some running problems tho as doesn't like going over 6-7rpm. I'm thinking powervalve turning wrong way, that or its my expansion chamber(has a hole that's been bodged up). Gonna have a fiddle in a bit and will post some pics up once I got it goin right
