there is a thread on here somewhere about it been done already, apparently it's a bitch to get to fit, but yeah, it should make a slight differnce, not sure about an epic noticible effect tho.

thanks guys i also have annother question. i have brought a tdr 1996 wiring loom did they still have the power valve cos i tryed fitting my servo and there are not any block cornector for it. i need help lol. or if anyone has a wiring loom for sale would be interested.

Yeah, they had the YPVS, the bike in all fairness is actually a DT, just different frame/panels can you take a pic of the loom + the servo connector/end? + what year is your DT? Becuase the 2003 and above had a different servo which I believe is totally diff from 89 - <2002 DT's

hi i have lost my usb cable to my phone so im not able to put a pic on yet but the servo i have does not fit in to the loom but the regulator rectifier does. and im not sure but there are 2 bock conectors 1 for the rectifier and 1 for the servo. but the one i think for the servo only has 3 cables and my servo has a block conector wich has 4 and 1 seperate one.

sounds like ya got the wrong servo then, cuz they changed them after 2003 models, they went all electronic and gash

the servo is from a 2001 dtr. but would the wires be interchangable do you think.

quite possibly, if both sets have the same amount/colors, then it'd be a straight swop

i have tried to interchange them and i faild lol so im just going to try loo out for a 04 engine thats my best bet m8. i hate electrics. so if you see or hear of one for sale if poss let me know . thanks for advise.
