Having problems ,with my radatoir , it got collant , but it just steems lieke heat should it be doing this , the side pannels are not on , there looks to be no air bubbles.Just like steam when you throw water on a hot engine . ?thanks
It didnt do it with the yammy head gasket, but it leaked water out of one side of the head , then put the brand new patter and from what i think, since then it done this now :(
might aswell get the head skimmed while its off m8 itll save u fcuking about having to take it off again if it still pressurizes the cooling system , mine done it, it was a pain in the arse
Yea ill get it done then , or another head . Erm would it really make the raditor steam, it just looks like heat , like when a engine is hot on a cold night ....
Wer exactly is the steam comin from m8 out from under the rad cap?? Or random place on rad Still don't rule out the head gasket jus yet , the cap maybe fine and doin it's job , the cap acts like a pressure relese valve wen the pressure in coolant system gets to high steam/coolant will escape past the seal=steam. So if the head gasket is fooked or head needs a skim the compression from the piston goin up has escaped into the water jacket in the barrel n head thus pressurising the cooling system to make it steam or leak out the cap , therefor fooling u into thinkin it's the cap
Still get a NEW rad cap ASAP and check ur head m8 it's gonna be one of the 2.. ite : )
