I agree - get a puller. Only thing to watch out for is that there are 2 different types I think. Early flywheels need a centre puller which is round and has a large external thread and is screwed into the flywheel over the end of the crank. The later type has a couple of threaded holes in the flywheel weight which is the round piece riveted to the front of the flywheel. The puller design is different, basically a flat plate with three holes - 2 for bolts to attach into the flywheel weight and one for the centre jacking bolt.
