Ive fitted the rear end on this, Cut down the rear side panels and fit Hpires rear Fender, The only bad bit is the frame where it pokes out underneath it. Soloution?? Grind it off Bradderz lol
Ive picked up my tank this morning that has been re-sprayed black, and im in the process of filling and sanding down them rear panels as they are scratched to fook.
All that needs doing now is the front fork seals which i aint looking forward to doing!!!!!!
Mate that look's awesome i would love the USD conversion but i dont know if the from caliper or wheel would fit onto the USD forks (dt125x wheel & twinpot brembo). Is it a big job to get the forks to fit?
CooS, youd need the SM wheel for them forks, you cant use DT wheels on it, if i wanted to SM it up id have to get the DTx rear but the wr450 front wheel, That front end on mine is complete 450 set up, -yokes -forks -caliper -disc -master cylinder -wheel -spindle
Stroker, My neighbour does alot of bodywork on bikes and cars, he gave me a few things to use onit, the last time i sprayed panels they flaked when the panel bent and it was crap. He gave me this tin, its like fiberglass specially for plastic, it'll help get rid of them deep gashes in it and help strengthen it and some primer that is really thick and holds. I will get pictures up of the finished result, im happy with it already. Just got to lacquer it.

Arrhh that's a bugger, image putting a wr450 swingarm on your bike then buying some massive sumo wheel's *porn*
Got her started up yesterday, kicked it 3 times then realised the spark plug wernt in lol, next kick got it started, Runs good.
Powervalve pinned open, Gutted expansion, Stubby'd DEP and a 13 tooth front sprocket (ill try not to flip it lol)
Them spacers fit but not wide enough so have to get some made up from the place that done the usd conversion to fill the gap, only chargin me a fiver, Bit pissed off that they didnt fit tbh!!
Bikes looking nice Steve, you and Bradders have done a good job on it, looking forward to seeing it in all it's glory, when the panels have been finished.
Fitted my HEL brake hoses yesterday, just need to sort out the routing for the rear brakeline, where it scorpion tails over the rear brake master cylinder, any chance of getting a pic of yours so I know how to get it round the wire guide on the rear of the battery plastics? as mine sits very close to the shock spring.
Cheers boys, this build wouldnt of happened with out bradderz, not sucking up but i wouldnt of been able to do any of this by myself and ive learnt alot from it.
Nev under my battery box there is a hook that hangs down and holds the break line, its a very tight fit. Ill get some pics up at the weekend cos thats when im going down to the workshop to finish it hopefully and test run it :/
loving the colour scheme on you bike mate, looks sick how you've done it, just needs to be sumo lol. are those dogbones the ones your sellin? look pretty good, might have to invest in some wen I get some spare cash.
front end sorted with new guards and head light , imo looks the dogs bollocks, that green decal finishes it off perfect i think , good work....me hahaha!!!
also had to put my lil tradmark on there aswell lol
