(before i done this bike run perfect in every gear and was not running to much petrol to oil how ever now the bike is running a lot of petrol to oil) the problem first started after i found out my head gasket went ( 2 stroke in radiator). so i changed head gasket and got the bike running at first the bike was loosing revs at 6000rpm and would not go past(which did not allow the power valve to start) and kept popping really loud. i left the bike for a while then i decided to try it again a few weeks later (still started every day). i went out for a ride the other day around the block and it started to pop at 6000rpm but the power valve started to work straight after the pop (it pops in every gear and will not go past 5500rpm in 1st gear). does anybody have any advice or have had this problem to them. another problem is the radiator keeps emptying its self out and all the rubber pipes are secured as tight as possible and no leaks. all advice will be much appreciated thank you.
Can you explain the problem a bit better? What do you mean by popping? And where is the water being dumped? If your losing all of the coolant and you can't account for over a litre of it, then you have a serious problem.
Just to add, you wouldn't find 2-stroke oil in your radiator. The two systems aren't linked, it would have been transmission oil from the gearbox. And if you are finding that in your water, I doubt its your head gasket that's causing the problem, more likely a leaking gasket or a crack.
Does the bike pour smoke out? I mean lots of thick grey smoke.
Might also be worth making a post in the Noobs section, you'll gain a lot more respect and better chances of help by telling us a little about yourself.

the popping noise seems to be coming from around the cylinder head some where and i mean like when you open a glass jar pop noise :S but since i changed head gasket have not had oil in radiator since. i think it might be something to do with the carb
Hey stiffla, if it only started to happen after the gasket change, there is a tab on the head gasket which says 'UP', was it put back in the right way?
