If not you're gonna have to hammer something into it like a flat bladed screwdriver and the unscrew it, or you can drill it out and use a slightly bigger torx on the hole you drilled and do it that way.. I'm almost certain there was a topic about this just the other day..

When I have snapped bolts off in the passed or round threaded them so to say, cos I am too heavy handed, I get my dermel out and make screwdriver lines on the bolt so the screwdriver does have enough grip to undo the bolt which is still inside it does work, and dermels these days are very cheap of ebay, I know not everyone has one but it is a good quick easier solution smile.gif

Took my bike to an engineer mate of myn yesterday, basically did a good bodge! I left the snapped part in there as it was well stuck and Basically got a hellicoil and made a thread in the crankcase, but a new short bolt in there and hey presto, its sweet as a nut!!!! Works perfectly, very easy amd cheap option and took 5 mins, i bunged him £10 didnt have to dismantle anything

I just got myne sorted out well i had 2 problems my gear lever shaft spring had snapped and my sump plug had snapped!

So i thought im not gunna mess with the clutch without the right tools, so just took it to a back street bike shop, they picked it up and ordered parts same day and i had my dt back on road within 24 hours and only cost £100 including labor, parts, getting bolt out & picking it up which i thought was bloody cheap!

And he said it was a little ****er to get outbiggrinbiggrin

Haha, I've done the same thing!

A little while back, about 9 months ago. I've just been riding it anyway. Leaks a little but nothing major.

I ended up tapping a new thread in the side casing and threading a bolt in there. Not ideal as it still leaks. Going to the Kickstart conversion on my dt125 re so I'm going to sort it out then. Anyone know where to get bolts from?
