can see why they put holes in it, the wind catchs the rad panels really hard when you get over 70! been toying with doing something similar as i do alot of duel carriageway commuting

+1 nitromors does the job..paint it on wait then wash it off biggrin

people put holes either side of splits to hold the plastic with cable ties ..either as a fix or to hold it while they fix it

you can fix the prob from behind with fibreglass and a piece of plastic

or plastic weld it then rub it down

good luck

cheers fellaz yeah ill look in to that stuff. i did fix the holes with a bit of grp, but since then iv snapped the original break again bloody final touches ,messin lol.
think ill use an extra piece of plasic to back it up too tho like you say should sort it cheers for that idea m8.

Got a leaky top ring gasket to replace aswell now and the rear caliper seals were shot, just got some more but recieved the wrong ones ( too big )
then i have an issue with the engine power surging
which iv narrowed down to the pulsar coil needin rethreaded to the stator plate bouncing around on 2 nailed threads held still with a bit of nail varnish lol.

new engine came this morning well impressed with it nice condition, i cant get a spark though cos i need some wires but iv got all the correct connections the cdi an coils an i dont really want to cut em up as i bought this engine for my backup lump for my blue one
love to know how to get a spark from what i have without having to put the engine in my blue one atm

i do have another engine with a stator 91 cdi on a loop that runs with no keys or killswitch but the pick up coils a bit crud the threads knacered where the pickup screws to the stator made the bike psychotic lol. so i dont think pulling this flywheel stator an hotwired loom just to test this new engine is worth it
its always been a bad starter, i think thats the culprit, but the engine as a whole is ok needs a +1 piston but i may just get rid of it as thatll be 3 dt engines sittin round

cheers m8 slowly ehh..
i know that feeling iv got another engine that i think im just givin up on too an it cant be anything serious cos iv used it its just to hard to get it starting of the kick for my liking.
this ones goes sweet but im not a fan of these power valve servo systems it feels weak the bike meyows rather than GRRRRRRRRR the full power ragin bull .. the initail pulls ok but naa not for me servos gotta go i ride mine always just under 6k so my powers always a tiny throttle flick away i do like that loads more

Bought a welder a while back  but just wasnt happening for me  so a little welding practise been going on .

I only really need a rear wheel nut for this baby so its ready for summer again

also need a black left tank scoop  an a side stand  but they aint  important like the wheel nut

got another dep end can for it iv refitted the end piece just got an issue with the pipe someones cut down need a way to fix it up

im quite impressed with my 1st proper weld repair tho its a bit lumpy but itll do

better than beggin my m8 to come an do it for me all the time.
