Hi guys, when the bike was being taken down for the MOT yesturday the oil light seemed very tempermental, on then off etc...
The gearbox was drained, filled with 750ccm of 10w30 on thursday and is at the correct level...
The 2 stroke oil is lowish.. what does the oil light indicate? On a car its oil pressure inside the cylinder head and due to not being a bike mechanic i don't know (hence why im asking!)
Any help would be much apreciated!, also the bike was involved in an accident (see project post)
you should top up strait away as when its low and you lean the bike on a long sweeping right hand bend it can starve the engine of oil or let air into the oil tube

Awesome!! cheers, although it does look like theres a fair bit in there, but i suppose its the skinny bit of the tank! Thanks again, T2 oil is now on the shopping list...
Haha 'just' to be sure, i think i only ever had 1 bottle stored up and when that got near halfway empty i used to buy another, and most of the time i could fit the remainder of oil out of that bottle into the fresh one
...you know just to be sure lol
