Hello Lads this is gonna be a dumb question, (PIC BELOW), Just wanted to know what is the easiest way without damaging the carburettor adaptor (NUMBER 18 IN THE PIC) to get it out, I take it you just take the cover off and pull it though the air box thing?? Cheers lads

take the small airbox cover off and push the rubber boot out

Mind you that small air box cover the flipping screws are on the inside, what sort of design were they thinking lol

ye ino but you will need a long rachet with a flexi joint and screwdrice socket,

anything to do with the carb is so much effort on these bikes, cant get my hands in there to work

The only reason I wanna do it this way is cos have sorted out the reed block and inlet stub (theres a section on here about it) and of course trying to put the carb on in the middle of the inlet stub and carb adaptor seems a lot of effort I did this before mate, and of course am worried I am gonna split one of the rubbers it goes into either side and I dont need this again, everythings hassle at the moment, managed to snap a reed block bolt off yesterday flush but done the old trick and managed to get it out, and was only doing it by the torgue settings from the manual, bloody bikes pain in the ass arent they mate!!!!!
