Brilliant mate, yeah it's a nice unique headlight, bit like marmite. Some peeps love it some hate it lol, i think it looks great. By the way, do you have a link to where you got your mirrors i've been contimplating getting underbar mirrors for a while. Would you reccomend them? Thanks.
They are the mirrors i used in this build, not had chance to fully test them yet only had a 5 min ride around the local area but they seem really good, better viewing angle if you have a jacket with shoulder protection.
And the light and speedo are causeing me some bother to be honest, the light seems to be angled slightly too high and the straps are as stratched as they can be, and the speedo is a cheaper unit from ebay at around £25 and i have set it up using the instructions but the speed is really high :/ no idea whats going on there to be honest

Hmmm that seems strange, so is the speedo a trail tech? + is it possible to mount the headlight w/o the straps as usually the straps suck with most headlights.
no it isnt a trail tech, i didnt want to spend so much on a speedo because aslong as its accurate enough for me to stick to the speed limits im fine with it. i have emailed the seller so i guess he will have some advice about it :)
And the headlight could possibly be fitted without the straps but dont want to do too many mods if possible, as i have already drilled an hold in the bottom to keep it lined up and centered.

I've seen all his vids lol, still think he should have gotten a coolerheadlight for the DRZ, but i suppose it saves alot of weight, i thought i have ocd with my bike then you look at his lmao.
If a headlight like that goes though the MOT and the old bill dont take any notice of it, then I am off to see the queen for a chomp LooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooL
Jake if you need a garage that's willing to look the other way in terms of MOT's message me on FB, i think it's £25 too which if i remember correctly is £2 cheaper then Ron Daley's
Although if it's getting stored for a while you'll not need it doing anytime soon
yeah cheers steve, im not sure what im doing about insurance this year and mine ran out today so its staying off road at least a month. and ahh im wanting to get it set up right aswel as the speedo so think i gonna have to pay someone to do it :')

As simple as that sounds it could melt the lamp holders/wire leading up to the lamps Check the wires are as thick if not thicker then the original ones Also if you can i would also message the makers/designers of it and ask whats the maximum wattage that could be used, you never know they could say something as high as 45w... But anyways 35w is almost double what they put in as standard so after a short ride you could just have a blobby plastic mess all over the mudguard (that being the worst case scenario of course)
frakmaster carl has 2 35w halogen bulbs in his, one pencil bulb and one flood bulb :) so i guess it will be ok, the wires are the same thickness as the original lamp I removed

Ahhhh if someone's already tried and tested it then you should be good to go! GPZ is fixed now btw but i better not thread hijack eh? Just message me the next time your bored as chuff on fb haha
It's still a work in progress.. Will be putting a CBR 600 rear shocker on it if i get the chance and i get it cheap enough And i would have brung the money down already but it would cost me well over £2 in petrol just to get down to yours! Oh and again not to thread hijack but the DR tank has been welded up and I've put some tank sealant in the inside so that should be ready sometime midweek i hope! Might take me a week to start the b@stard up though, was a nightmare to kick when i was kicking it everyday, nevermind after leaving it standing in the shed for 3 months!
