Like all the others have said its a basically a free sm setup which has been given to me, as all the others parts which came with it i could sell them and probably make more money than what i paid for all of it ;) Get even more jealous haha

definatly happy with it tho

That does look like a bigone zorst,but not for a dtr ,maybe dt50/80, way too small for dtr by th looks of it ,or maybe from an lc!,,I have bigone on my dtr ATM

As you cant post in the FAQ exhaust section I thought posting in here would be better as it relates to my bike and now this thread is starting to be more of a project thread with pics :)

When i bought my DT125X setup it came with loads of other DTX parts but surely this cant be for a dt as its seems so tiny to standard lol, can anyone confirm this from the pictures provided?

Or if it is a dt pipe does anyone know the make of the exhaust as there isnt any markings and also if you can tell if its for the RE or the DTR, supposadly this chamber Photo 0193 1.jpg came off the dtxPhoto 0191 1.jpgPhoto 0192 1.jpgPhoto 0190 1.jpg

also off topic can holes from corrosion in the rear silencer pipe be welded, i was given a dep silencer with it but theres quite a lot of corrosion on the actual pipe which connects to the expansion chamber and has resulted in a few tiny holes with diamaters of 3/4mm??

Thats a big one exhaust and looks like it is for the re my bike came with one but it was for the dtr and didnt fit it was pushing on the tank an it never sealed at the head and it was **** 75 mph in 5th gear and 45 in 6th WTF but not sure what that would be like as it does look like its for the re the curve is different where mine hit the tank and mine also had a bracket on the thin part near the end can that went down like the old dtrs also clean some of the rust and crap off the bracket on the fattest part of the pipe and you should see a small wierd shaped letter B ill try to get some pics up

ay thats great mate, thanks for that, should be picking up my New DEP expansion chamber tomorrow but now i know what this pipe it ill clean it up and sell it on ebay :) cheers buddy

Lol yeah thats what i did i got £110 it was brand new tho came in the box with the bike and i had already brought the dep and its definatly the best of the three pipes iv had it pops up in 3rd almost evry time i try

Line it up to see if it does fit before you put you dep on if only too sell it on but yeah you need to no what its for so just try it .also have you got manifold bit what ever you call it the springs atatch too an surely a diferent model wouldnt fit at all would it ?

**** sake, fitted my brand spanking new DEP chamber and its got a hole on the weld and blowing, pictures will come later but hopefully i can get it replaced or welded for free :)

Too right, even better two of the 3 fixing points dont even line up, called them up yesterday and its getting sent back to dep for a replacement, still annoying tho and its hassle, not gonna have my bike again for a couple of days

Tidy SM mate.

Was going to go for DTX myself. Decided I want an actual challenge. Rs125 wheels. WR250F forks and some nice D&D graphics should go nicely I reckon. Plust the ol Vapor Stealth :D

Thanks buddy, suprised you only just saw those pics, there pretty old now, got my 520 conversion and as mentioned my new crappy dep on ;)

haha good man, best go and take some pics with the dep on then ;) i joke

You still got the standard don't you, and you wanna hear it, it sounds so nice, and it defiantly has improved performance, only use to like revving up to about 8.5k on the vapor when riding but now its got so much power to go over 10k, not that i do but the extra 2k is defiantly worth it, i need to get a vid to show you at somepoint ;)

oh yeah forgot to mention on the setup your planning to have in the end, but yeah that does sound nice mann,

Worst thing is tho, put so much money into my bike and found out the other night someone was asked to rob it , pisses me off just knowing but at least i know people are after it

don't know what's worse? the fact that some fścktard wants to steal your bike....or the fact that said fścknut hasn't got the bottle to do it himself? give someone a ton to put a milk bottle up his įrse and kick him till it breaks evileye good to here the bikes coming along too chap biggrin
