Too right buddy, its fricking annoying knowing that someone has tried kinda and not knowing who but ****s gonna go down if and when i do find out
Thanks F,M,D :)
And yeah its constantly locked up logik'z, takes me about 25 mins to secure my bike when its home ;) and its always locked up where ever i go when i'm out and leaving it, cant risk losing it, its my baby :P lol
Sounded alright, I cant really remember what it sounded like with a standard dep silencer and standard RE chamber but here is a vid with the dep silencer stubby'd by bradders with the same standard pipe,
You defiantly need one tho, it puts such on a grin on my face, so much difference between the two pipes ;)
Heres some pictures from when i was out on it for a short while tonight, main point of it was out to test my second DEP xpanny' (other one fixing points were wrong and two holes in it from new so had to send it back to DEP for a replacement!) but yeah it was pretty fun, until it started raining ;)
From pics your also notice the 520 conversion on it, soon to come will it be looking a bit taller as ill be raising the back end soon when i get time to fit the dogbones :) Enjoy ;)
Thanks buddy, yeah I know right, think it looks so much better than like the older blue re's, gonna need it rebuilt tho soon if I've gotvthe money and you got the time and obviously up for it, rattling quite a bit now on tick over and it's hitting around 13,500 miles :) and obviously want to try getting most of the other bits done if I've got the money which I mentioned to ya in pm (powder coating etc) But like I said before it a never be as much hassles as Sean's, I can guarantee that, no electrical problems haha :) just a 'service' really
Here's some new pictures of it after it had the dogbones replaced with longer ones ;) its defiantly getting there, from how it looked when i first bought it ;) need to find the time to prep and spray the panels which need spraying (everything apart from the rear fender which i sprayed the other week, 3rd time spraying anything ;)
and me again just messing around ;)
oh yeah, Thanks to Sgt-syphilis i managed to get all of the cyclone alarm features working on my bike, i.e immobiliser, remote start etc. I must say i'm very impressed with the alarm, its defiantly worth the money and so much better than the hawk alarm which i owned previously, I was lucky syphilis was happy to help as the company which build and supply the alarms were not atall as helpful, poor wiring instructions, communication etc, so yeah thanks buddy :)
played around with it that day and i must say the range that you can arm it and unarm it is really good, a good 45ft+ plus, and how quickly it immobilises once you arm it when its running, i'd love for someone to try riding off with it ;) ill have to make a mock video soon to show how good it is haha, but yeah if you got the RE, its defiantly worth getting, if we got the same loom ill be happy to help you out online with fitting it :)
Hey reef do you still have that pipe you was asking if anyone new about ? Check this ebay listing 121002741447 its got full big one for the re. my pipe was deffo for the r not the re
Cheers mate, still so much more needs doing to it tho, need to strip it down, powder coat everything, top end rebuild......... And the rest but there my main two things I want to do ;)
And ay, I still got that dt, posted in the for sale section to see if anyone wants the heap of **** for 55 ;) lol, although it might be an ideal project for someone, especially as it comes with the logbook :)
(off a chinese import) patman use to have them as well
Once you click on the mirror the picture changes but dw, i called them up to make sure that the mirrors i were getting were the mirrors which come with the apache :)
hmmm, some of you may have noticed me going on about rebuilding and minting my bike out through bradders and had a quick go at desigining a new look for it and wouldnt mind your opinions on the colour scheme??
a lot of red but think it could look good :) and hopefully Ill be swapping over to DD custom graphics anyway soon so there wouldnt be as much ;)
If you like it, what colour for the HEL braided lines, once again was thinking red haha, but am now thinking otherewise, heres the other colours you can get
Yeah I won't go mad with the red, gonna keep to the plan of having the frame hubs (wheels hopefully getting rebuilt with stainless spokes) and the rad and other side bracket red, with the gear and brake leaver and pegs going silver to match swing arm, forks going black, probably yokes as well, and the bars ill probably go black as well, as for the hel braided lines front is going black and rear is going to be silver to match the swing arm, think that will look pretty good, then change the rim tape to a different colour as well, maybe white, silver hmm
(As for poor wording, sorry on iphone)
As for the idea of going all silver, don't really like the idea of that personally but thanks mate, thanks for the input :)

I'm guessing no one like the idea of that amount of red?? What's your opinion?? ;) I'm thinking scrap the idea of red gear/brake lever and stay with silver to match the forks and swingarm?? What about the brake lines though, hmm?? :)
Thanks you input lads, that's a good point seiki, think I'm going to go with it apart fromthe idea of having the dtx forks silver, going to get them coated black, as for the brake lines think ill tame it down with them and go silver or black maybe, probably black
I just hope with the brake lines that the rear line will fit my rear calliper, pretty sure that the dtx uses the same master cylinder as the RE (nisin is it?) as I had to use my re rear braking setup when changing to the dtx setup as the rear supplied has seized, hopefully it's all good as they don't advertise brake lines for the RE
Good man i'd keep it as simple as poss, reminds me of Fragmasterkarl's bike he went OTT on the Red and it would have looked nut's if he simmered it down a bit!
Haha just not too keen on the idea, want it to stand out a tiny bit and silver seems a bit dull if you ask me, think I'm gonna keep to the idea of red, black, white, silver matey haha, I'm sure it will look good and not too overdone

I love red and think those red bits could look great .. just have to be carfull not to go over the top ..... but if was me I would go as stupid as you wish with the red bits ? who cares what anyone else thinks . if you like it and your happy with it then screw what others think ... be a individual not a sheep
