up its not going to make any difference unless the holes smaller than the one on the top of the airbox

£8? I've chucked many DTR airbox's out purely because they wouldn't sell for anything!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-DT125R-DTR-Airbox-/200642583736?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2eb73adcb8

Get that bought and you can even have a spare airbox for modding and what have you.. Says it even comes with a spare filter which is always a bonus!!

Gotta remember it doesnt work like a RAM system, I think the way Yamaha had it is pretty spot on.

£8 for that is a joke, ive gotten an entire box for that with filter

what i was thinking was if the hole is that small wouldnt the engine need to work harder to pull the air thro the fillter. causing uneven air pressure on difrent sides of the filter. like i say just a thought please correct me if i am wrong.

it must restrict you bike having a 125 carb on, also the lanza only has a tmx30 very small when a yz 125 has a 36mm

yea as far as i know it the same as a 125 carb. it seems so dum to restrick the air box and put a small carb on it. when the exhaust is bigger than a 125 i mean why if it cant suck the air in fast enouth it dont realy need to get the gasses out quicker. i even have a light that comes on to tell me i am braking the max speed limit.(dam japs)

had to put bk gether as i needed a bike to ride coz my honda got a flat tyre. so i didnt re-jet it yet but it feels so much faster and it trys to lift the front wheel in 3rd gear. cant wait to coppy the (only way is yamaha dtr) and cut the top of my air box.
