Reeds do i need to jet

im debating getting some new reeds ive read some posts saying oh theyre great my bike went like **** of a shovel after i fitted them some people saying i lost power ther crap 

 

question 1 - am i gna feel more power 

 

question 2 - is it gna mess up my engine 

 

question 3 where can i get them cant find them on web just second hand on ebay

I got the carbon racing ones in, to be honest, if anyone says or you hear someone going my bike went sh!!it of a shovel they are lying, cos there isnt much difference at all in power!!!!!

all reeds do is allow the fuel / air to get into the cylinder quicker. so you will have better throttle response.

It's upto you mate, if you want the hassle of fitting/paying for them, then go for it. Otherwise don't bother.

Never done it personally.. But it seems like they make barely any difference so would be a waste of money..

Now if you were actually trying to race this bike or turn it into a track bike where every little thing matters then they might be worth while. But for now.. Just enjoy the bike!

yams were fitted with fiber hitech as standard. just make sure you get the stopper hight correct. Manual says 8.8mm
