how to fit a new clutch cable??

hi im lookin for information on fitting a new clutch cable as mine snaped at the leaver.. could any help plz

start at the rod end near the carb and fit it the same as the original, take off the  clutch lever slot the cable in, and take most of the free play out on the cable adjuster (on the cylinder mount) then adjust the clutch lever

Ahhh sounds easy enough... Was wondering if it was that easy or if id have to do something with the clutch casing off. dunno why i thought this but i was almost sure it was just puttin that cable on the leaver an then on the mount by the cylinder.

just a quickie, i dont know what route the clutch cable takes but if its anything like the tacho tie the 2 ends of the cable together and pull it though from the old one. will follow the exact route then
