Hello chaps I've got a 2007 dtx I've heard of I fit a full dep system I'll have to have the carbs jetted us this true bike is pretty standard apart from a Lamborghini blue and gloss back paint job would like to fit dep pipe but would rather keep standard jetting.
interested to see that paintjob mate, :D anyway it all depends really, no 2 bikes are the same best bet is that once you have fitted it do a plug chop. (google it if you dont no how) and then change the jet according to what colour it is
I can't upload pics from my fone so will try get on a computer and upload a few for ya I want to try keep bike as standard as I possibly can but exhaust now let's bike down after the paint job
You will need to rejet to a 240/260 with a full DEP system, but find a steep hill, pin the throttle wide open all the way up the hill in the first 3-4 gears...then at the top, kill the engine and check the colour of the spark plug. You're after a chocolatey brown colour.
