managed to get jumped and loose my phone so ive only got pics of what its like now and my account only just got approved lol
heres how i bought, it was in a bit of a state but it had a ypvs and it was red so i had to have it, set me back 570
just noticed it looks alot better in the pics than it did in flesh and someone had took a paint brush and painted the frame and swingarm
heres how it sits now
stripped it down to bare frame and had it powdercoated then rebuilt it, replacing everything that was siezed or ****ed and cleaned all the rest up. replaced eveything rusty on the bike and new bolts all round.
just waiting on a wheel spindle no then i can get the back wheel as someones put a spindle too short so it doesnt fit unless the chain adjusters are removed
welcome mate and i really wanted a red one when i was looking to geting mine but non was about =[ you got a deal aswell lol
btw because red parts are so rare some just poped up on ebay for sort off £10 posted for rad scoops and £25ish for back plastics if i was you and your keeping it red buy then cos i dought any proppa red ones will pop up cheapish again for a wile
it still is a bargin i payed 720 for my 2002 dt thats been cat c'ed had bent spidles and broken power valve with scratched plastics and the frame is rusty to hell lol
Talking about bargains are we? I paid £300 for my 97, and it came with a DEP expansion and a BIG ONE end can I had blown the water pump seal and head gasket twice within the first week but it was still a bargain!! Really..? I think I sold it within a month purely because it was that unreliable, I changed the head gasket and by the time the next owner took it home (literally 2 minutes ride) it had blown!
None the less, I'm certain I have a rear spindle in the shed, them snails are still on it if I remember correctly.. Make me an offer and I'll try and get a photo of it, came off a field bike and it's been in the shed a while so won't be perfect, I'll have a look tomorrow
lol you know something, this bike came with a rear wheel spindle off a different bike and its short so it had no chain adjusters, now im waiting on the postman to bring my new one
trying to get scratches out of my old panel with some 240 wet and dry, takes ages
but im nearly there
sanded down both pegs with a dremel and sanding drums
copied someones idea on here, serves a purpose and really does make the bike look better
anyone know what bike this is off?
bike came with this fmf off a mx bike, looks like its had two mounts and ones been sawn off. someones done a **** job making that pipe and it goes the wrong way lol
top spindle's one that came with the bike, look how short it is, couldnt even get the chain adjusters to fit and the nuts smaller so waiting on a nut now.
along with some acerbis fork socks and a hpires rear mudguard
then its going supermoto and converting to 520 chain and sprockets
engines probably staying standard till i get used to it then ill be going better reeds, bigger carb and airbox cut off, 3mb head and then its wherever the road takes me
supermoto wheels arrived today, theyre in good nick too, with pirelli tyres with disks and a sprocket. got all this for just 100 pound. bargian of the century!

plans now are a full engine rebuild after my crank seal went
had a look at the cylinder and compared it to the sp barrel and crankcases and going to port it. its proper restricted compared to sp barrel and the cases dont match up to barrel either.
this is kinda what im going for
