If i keep the power up and stay in the right gear to keep the revs up, i have no issues with how the bike runs..It's quick and a lot of laughs
But
If i i'm in 6th gear and let off, not dropping huge amounts of speed, when i throttle up again she bogs down big time (with that usual pppppparp sound!). After a second or so she picks up again.
Also, when pulling away from a standing start she needs quite a bit o'revs to stop her bogging down as well.
Is this just what they're like?...Am i being to gentle so not to deafen other road users!
You are running lean, clean the carburettor and jet up, sounds like you need to lift the needle up one or two notches as well, you notice it in sixth gear because the bike has more load on the motor and is at high rpm, with the speed the engine is able to maintain its energy for longer, in the other gears you don't really stay there for long enough to notice it.
