Yeah man i always recommend genuine, used aftermarket ones and they where all terrible! cost more than what it would of for a genuine in oil and coolant wasted

used 2 aftermarket gaskets now and water keeps getting into head after about 3 miles. is that just cos they are ****.... or am i doin summin wrong? after ive put it all back together do i need to just top up the coolent and there we go.... or do i have to bleed it or summing. cos there seems to be alot of air pressure in the system after the coolent gets into the head. last time it happend i took one of the water hoses off a it blasted out with alot of air and water...... please help.....got some genuine ones on way now so hopfully it wont happen again... if i can find out what im doin wrong..... thanks

It's more than likely the gaskets. It's posted all over this place that non OEM ones are crap and you won't save any money by using them

System should NOT need bleeding as the filler on the rad is the highest point in the system and air will all rise their and escape, just run engine for a couple of minutes with the filler cap off after re-filling with coolant.

The bits you need come in a good set I got from Machine Mart

http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cht569-100pce-bit-set?da=1&TC=SRC-bit%20set

There is a machine mart near my house so I use them a lot, they do mail order too. I'm sure you could also get from Screwfix.
