Bike not starting nicely again!

Hey again guys... Having some serious issues with my bike again..

Symptoms: Not starting with no choke, with choke it starts, revs to about 5000rpm (by itself) then sounds like it floods out and dies.

Tried: Top-end rebuild +2.00 (PV ground to suit), both crank seals, Carb mixture screw, jet needle position, main jet (ran fine before rebuild with a 240, tried a 220) All passages etc are defonately clean, brand new fuel..  tried various float heights...Just de-coked the exhaust..

She still sparks fine, a nice healthy bluey purple spark, consistantly.

Plug constantly coming out wet so im pretty sure its a fueling problem.. i just dont know where!

At one point, i managed to get it to play nicely and tickover.. took it for a 10mile ride and it caned about 7 liters or so of fuel... Let it sit for a few hours after and it wouldnt start again, same problem..

I'm really stumped... Any of you fine fellows got any ideas?

Sounds very similar to mine, turned out it was a L/H crank seal, spray some wd40 near the seal with the flywheel cover off, if the revs race up its more than likely the seal, I see you've renewed your seals but if not put in properly they can be easily be damaged.

i guess it is possible, because i replaced the seal before doing the top end rebuild, and it ran (briefly) with the ****ed piston.. I really don't want to have to split it all down.. AGAIN.. and buy another seal.. But if i have to, i have to.

Thanks for the input, Nev. It's appreciated!

Another thing to check is how much play you have if you pull the flywheel to you,( backwards and forwards) if theres too much play, it's possible there can be slight wear between the bearings and their seating in the crankcase, and can push the seals out slightly, drawing air in. I'd try the WD40 trick anyroad.

Thanks, Nev! i never would have thought about that. I replaced the L/H seal yesterday as it was leaking, but it still doesnt work! Just checked the R/H seal and its still fine which is a bonus..
Just about to check the L/H seal to see if it's pushed it out again, If it has then you're most probably right! I have plenty spare crankcases laying about so it shant be a problem if that is it!
