took the bike out to day half hay home the speedo just reads 0 all the time i got home checked the cable unscrewed it wheel end twisted it and the speedo moved so its not the clocks so plugged it back in and it still does not read but a checked the clock and its fine :/
whip the wheel off take the speedo drive off give it a good clean and then greese then make sure its seated right on the tabs speedo drive is mechanical so it must be some thing wheel end mate
Check the little tab lip thing in the centre of the hub mate is still there, take your wheel off then the speedo drive, and in the middle of your wheel hub the little circle where your front spindle bolt goes in there will be a little metal tab thing sticking out, if thats not there mate, theres your problem to why your speedo isnt working, had this problem before, they can snap off well easy
