got bored tonight watching tv so thought it would be a good idea to go and carry on with my rebuild!!!
WRONG CHOICE!!
thought i would try and undo the screw that was holding on the powervalve cover, i managed to use an impact driver to loosen it and bang the head came off (pic1), then it was so full of crap that i snapped the powervalve cover (pic 2)...
any suggestions now!!!!

my cover kept comeing off so i tighent it up and the bolt snaped off inside i then treyed to drill it out and fked it up bad ended geting my dad to do it on the big bent drill thinggy i then put putted the hole cap on with heat proff putty and its holding atm you might want to try sorese a new end case and drill the bolt it will be easyest just take great cear if u go to far the barrle is fked cos u drilled into the water jacket
spent have the day drilling out rear disc bolts. 6 off them!!, im sure you will be able to drill it out , or take it to an engineering place , they will do it easy
Tell ya what, nigh on every disc bolt I've taken off has been loctited in, and I've had to put heat on them to free the loctite off them, you see it sizzling out the disc at the top, if it has been loctited.
mine wer alen key bold and all just rounted had to hammer a flat heat into them to losen them a bit then used molegrips to undo the rest and they turned out to be lock tighted on
For half the cost of going to a garage, you can buy an easy out kit, then any future bolts you snap on a Sunday night at 10pm say, you'll still make work on your bike, Monday morning.
i will probably get one of those now NEV, the Barrel is going off to be rebored so i may ask the chap doing it to extract it, the only other option is to send it off hopeing he will send a different one in the post back as it's a 48hr turn around!!!
